You should polish your car more

The best way to keep your car looking new and fresh is to wash and wax it regularly. You should try to wash your car at least once per month and to use some sort of car polish at least once every three to four months. Washing your car will prevent build up of everything that you dont want- bugs, salt build up, etc. Using car polish or wax protects the paint from fading and makes your car look shiny.
I like to add washing the car to my weekly routine. I tend to save change in one of the compartments of my car and use the change I accumulate at the self-serve car wash. During most weeks, I like to wash the car at some point and I usually apply car polish on Memorial Day, Labor Day, and Valentines Day. It keeps my car looking fresh and clean and helps prevent corrosion.
Waxing a car is actually pretty simple. Car polish or wax is actually just a thin, transparent layer over the paint. It not only protects it from the elements, but hides minor flaws in the paint, such as scratches, and makes them less visible. Additionally, car polish seals the paint like an invisible barrier. You should always begin waxing just after washing and drying your car.
Dry the car off, then apply the car polish one small section at a time to the exterior. I would suggest testing your car polish on a small, non-visible section to make sure that it wont have adverse effects on the finish. I like to start at the top of the car and work down because there is a better chance of dirt being left on the bottom of the car. You wont want to rub that all over the car-you want that to be the last part that you do.
Once you have completed the application process, buff your car to a nice shine using a soft, clean towel. I prefer to buy a towel to use specifically for this process, but an old house towel will do the job as long as its clean and soft.
So there you have it-the easiest way to keep your car looking as good as the day you brought it home. This process doesnt take long, and can actually be fun if you do it with a friend! Related topics Best car wax . Car . Waterless car wash .
